SELF-INTERVIEW
an introspective letter, an invitation to connect with your inner world.
Who were you in your dreams? I was the poet who wrote without fear, whose words finally meant something when placed in front of the right eyes.
What did you hear? I heard the sound of my own breath, my heartbeat keeping time with mother nature‘s womb.
What were you wearing? Soft, flowing garments, silk against skin moving with the natural breeze — enough space to feel free.
What were you eating? The sweetness of fruits grown from seeds I planted with my own hands, pulled straight from the earth.
What did you want? Freedom. To be. To feel everything —joy, sadness, loss, sun on my skin, grass beneath my feet. Most of all, acceptance of myself.
Why were you hiding? To live without judgment, without hate, without ego. And even though those things lived inside of me, I could choose not to feed them, to accept them, and let them go.
Who was with you? It was less about who and more about what. The souls who love me, who accept me. The souls of my ancestry, my present, my future.
Where were you going? Nowhere —only inward, only still. Content with where I was, what I had, and who I was with. Wherever I was going would be exactly where I was meant to be.
